Welcome to Future Scholars Academy

Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders Today

The Founder
Jacqueline D. Bosby
The ARCH Microschool is a small specialized school based in Georgia. Our goal  is to be affordable or  be able to provide scholarships to attend.  It uses  the  ARCH Program's curriculum, which was designed and implemented by Jacqueline Bosby.  The purpose; to help underserved teens and young adults between the ages of 16-24  redirect their behaviors by giving them  the tools and teaching them how to give of themselves  and to their community .  Many of today's participants are referred to us by probation, but others are referred by other adults, parents, school counselors, and even clergy.

Referrals are welcomed but not required,  some teens come on their own,  anyone needing our services will have the opportunity to get help from us.

After having a successful year only servicing teens with learning disabilities we changed our name and priorities.

Today our services and programs has been incorporated into our Microschool  where the  learning experience extends far beyond the physical confines of a classroom.  We use the surrounding community and its resources.

Students are encouraged to focus on mastering and understanding who they are first which allows them to value their worth as they better themselves and helping others.

This website is to inform you about the services & programs taught at the Microschool, but, if you want to know more about the founder  please follow the links below, it shows  the founders qualifications and  other programs  she continues to coordinate.

SELF-AWARENESS

This program will help the participants perceive and understand the things that make them who they are as individuals, the purpose to build their self-esteem and make them more aware of their self worth.

LIFE SKILLS

Many of our participants lack life skills, without them they also lack other needed tools to become independent. Life skills builds social awareness, decision-making, and the tools to create and maintain relationships.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Teenagers are often self-centered, and they feel the world revolves around them and their friends. This program redirects their negative behavior and teaches them to be more independent, and respectful.

ACADEMICS/EDUCATION

Education is important but we understand that no two teens learn the same or at the same level, so we meet them where they are. The Microschool has partnered with the Technical Schools to help each participant graduate from high school

MENTORING

Mentors are needed to help these teens become productive. We match veterans with a youth that has the same interests. Mentors help close opportunity gaps by connecting them with new networks, resources and possibilities that otherwise may not be available.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Volunteerism and community service is a way for these teens to give back to society. Every participant is required to complete a minimum of 3-community service projects which are all led by the participant. This is also part of our accountability program

FINANCIAL LITERACY

In order to survive and flourish in this world, one must know how to handle their finances. But who's responsible for teaching this? The ARCH Program incorporates a full financial literacy program to every participant, it teacher all about money, how to make it, save it and grow it.

WORK READINESS

The work readiness training takes the teens out of the classroom. This is learning through work. These hands-on learning opportunities include project-based learning, internships, apprenticeships, and entrepreneurship education.

CAREER EXPLORATION

Finding a job can be a challenge for anyone especially when someone don't know or understand all of the careers available for them. The ARCH Program allows teens to explore and see what their interests are and what skills they have or need to be prepared for that career.

LIFE AFTER SCHOOL

Now it's time to find a job, maintain that job and locate housing. Life after high school is a pivotal time for self-discovery and decision-making. Our program helps them decide on college, trade schools, or even the military, We help them explore the possibilities and uncover what comes next in their journey!
